Digital Typeface Built Out of Conway’s Game of Life’s Still Life Patterns

The typeface allows user to write text that is stable inside a GoL environment. The chosen proportion between the cells and a letter is one small enough so that the internal structure of GoL rules still define the form and weight of the letter but big enough to get toward this slightly old school and shaggy style that diver- ges from earlier bitmap fonts. It also means that, even though in an average text editor it is a common digital typeface, in its natural environment it behaves as a good old mono sized font, where pixels are self-aware entities.
